Kelly O’Donnell Sheehan

With the birth of Tory’s grandchildren in June 2019, and being too young to retire, Tory wanted help with the Boarding Schools Fair in Bermuda, which she has hosted for 28 years. With over 22 years admissions experience and many more than that in event planning, Kelly is thrilled to join Tory and Schools to Know to help planning fairs and spread the good word of all boarding schools. Our goal is to help boarding schools and families connect.

Victoria “Tory” Dodge

My exposure to boarding school started at the young age of five when I attended a junior boarding school as a day student, Rumsey Hall School in Connecticut. I continued as a high school student at The Mary C. Wheeler School in Providence. At my initial school interview, I remember looking at the Admissions Director thinking that that would be a job I would really like to have!  Little did I know I would eventually become one. After I’d finished college, I join the Peace Corp as a Volunteer Teacher for almost three years in Ethiopia. The job of co-director and admissions coordinator at a junior boarding school followed and led to work in admissions at the secondary school level. These experiences gave me the background I needed to launch a thirty year career as a marketing and admissions consultant.  During that time, when I wasn’t traveling to visit schools and programs, I could be found in Bermuda helping families make an informed choice of schools for their children. The Boarding Schools Fairs have kept me returning to the island I love.
