On April 4th, Schools to Know hosted an event for the Bermuda Government’s Department of Child and Family Services. This is the sixth year for Special Needs Schools and Programs from America to work collaboratively with the staff of this child welfare agency. Should a student in Bermuda be deemed to require additional educational or emotional support services overseas, Child and Family Services is the Department that decides where they are going to go. This event is designed to provide state of the art information on schools and programs that could be potential placement resources for the department.
This year’s group included: Oliverian School, The Family School, Chamberlain International School, Alpine Academy, La Europa, Kolob Canyon School, Mountain Springs Academy. Stetson School and Moonridge Academy.
